She has worked with those aspiring to leadership, newly appointed leaders and existing leaders responding to new challenges. 

She has extensive experience in executive assessment and development and is a skilled facilitator of interactive groups including leadership development, talent development, career planning and change.

Wendy has worked with a wide range of organisations and sectors, including banking and finance, telecommunications and IT, FMCG, Transport and Manufacturing and Pharmaceuticals.

Business Experience

Prior to setting up her own consultancy, Wendy had ten years experience working with a global Human Resources Consultancy as a Principal Consultant, Coach and Career Counsellor.

Wendy has worked in a range of leadership, advisory and education roles in the public and private sectors and has significant experience in management and team leadership, career counselling, organisational development and project management.

Education and Training

Wendy is experienced in using assessment tools to enhance individual and group development including Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Leadership Effectiveness Assessment (LEA 360), Lominger, Matrix Influence and Persuasion and Birkman Profiling.

She holds a Masters in Vocational Counselling from Massey University including a special study in mentoring, a Post–Graduate Diploma in Corporate Management from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Diplomas in Teaching and Drama.

Business Experience

Prior to establishing his own consultancy in 2008, John had 11 years as Principal Consultant with Right Management (formerly known as Greene Hanson and The Empower Group), a leading global human resource consultancy. He worked in both Auckland and Wellington.

John also has more than 10 years experience in several large New Zealand organisations including executive positions in the fields of project management, marketing management and human resource management.

Education and Training

John holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree from Victoria University, Wellington in which he specialised in personnel, organisational behaviour, marketing and planning. He is accredited in contemporary training, personnel assessment and feedback tools including products from Lominger, Selector, Birkman and DiSC.

Win is an experienced Consultant offering specialist experience in career coaching and development, change management, transition and outplacement support and human resources consulting.With a depth of experience in the delivery of change support programs over a broad range of industries and disciplines, Win is well known for her practicality and sensitive approach in dealing with people at all levels. 

Her expertise lies in her ability to build trust and to support both individuals and management through all aspects of business change.

Business Experience

Win has over twenty years professional consulting experience with both national and international consulting firms. Prior to establishing her own consultancy in 2004, Win held the position of Senior Consultant in the Organisation Development team with KPMG for 14 years. This role involved her in a wide range of consulting projects with business clients including recruitment and selection at all levels, psychometric testing, career coaching, and all aspects of the change management process. Recent projects have included general HR and transition support in an organisation specifically set up to support the Christchurch rebuild program on completion of a 5 year contract to a major insurer and the closure of Finance, Administration and IT project teams in a large multinational company.

Qualifications and Training

Qualified practitioner of various assessment tools including SHL’s OPQ and reasoning tests and Saville Consulting WAVE psychometric assessments.

Janet Macaskill

Coaching and Consulting Experience

Janet’s background of line management within IBM when it was going through significant cultural and structural change led to an interest in developing people, helping them to identify their desired career directions and encouraging them to take steps towards fulfilling these goals. This has translated into coaching leaders at every level; designing and delivering leadership development programmes; leadership assessment, feedback and development planning; career planning and transition; developing change skills in leaders and team members; and team profiling and building effectiveness. 

Over the last 22 years she has worked with Chief Executives and Boards, senior leadership team members through to team leaders in the public (central and local government), regulatory and not for profit sectors as well as financial services, IT, the energy sector and the dairy industry. She has undertaken recruitment for CE roles working with the Board; assessed the performance of CEs and supported Boards with CE appointments to ensure confidential, robust and independent processes.

Business Experience

Currently, as well as consulting work, Janet works part time for the Leadership Development Centre (LDC). In her role as Leadership Development Coach Janet works closely with senior public sector leadersparticularly in the area of Assessment and 360º Survey feedback and development planning, soft skills coaching and career planning and advice. She also contracts to DataTorque, a NZ-owned software company, as Organisational Coach. Before this she gained a depth of HR Consulting experience across the employment life cycle within two leading New Zealand organisation development consultancies, with five years with Right Management and 14 years with Sheffield Ltd.

Janet draws on her management and marketing experience from nine years with IBM in sales, product management and management roles. As a manager she was involved in a number of major company reorganisations, working directly with affected staff members as well as providing guidance and policy advice to the Human Resources function.

Education and Training

Janet is an accredited user of assessment tools including Korn Ferry (Lominger), Hogan, DiSC, SHL, TMS, MBTI, Birkman and OPRA including the Genos EI tool. She is an accredited and experienced Assessor for DDI Assessment Centres, and Facilitator for Right Management and DDI Leadership programmes. 

She holds a BA (Hons) in English and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Victoria University of Wellington.
